How to replace UV printer ink correctly and quickly

UV printer is an advanced printing device used for high-quality printing on various materials. Sometimes we may need to replace different ink types like soft ink/ hard in/ neutral ink.Therefore it is very important to know how to replace ink correctly.

Prepare materials：

Step 1: Preparation

• Turn off the printer power and ensure that the device is in a safe shutdown state.
• Wear gloves to prevent ink from staining your hands.

Step 2: Locate the ink supply parts

• Open the printer body or print head protective cover to expose the ink supply components.
• Depending on the printer model and brand, the location of the ink supply parts may be different. Please refer to the printer user manual to confirm the exact location of the ink supply components.

Step 3: Clean the ink supply parts

• Use a rag or paper towel to gently wipe the ink supply part to ensure that its surface is clean.
• If the old ink is leaking or contaminated, the ink residue should be removed before replacing the ink.

Step 4: Remove the old ink bottle

• Find the ink bottle fixture based on the printer model and ink supply component design.
• Release the fixing device and take out the old ink bottle from the ink supply part.
• Place the old ink bottle into a container for subsequent disposal.

Step 5: Install the new ink bottle

• Open the sealing cap of the new ink bottle and make sure the sealing cap is intact.
• Insert the new ink bottle into the ink supply component, making sure that the sealing cap is tightly connected to the ink supply component.
• Install back the new ink bottle to ensure it is securely attached to the ink supply unit.

Step 6: Test and Calibrate

• Turn on the printer power and start the device.
• According to the instructions in the printer user manual, test whether the printer is working properly.
• If necessary, perform printer calibration according to the instructions in the user manual.

• During the ink replacement process, be sure to follow the instructions and recommendations in the printer user manual.
• When removing the old ink bottle or installing a new ink bottle, be careful not to dirty the printer and the surrounding area.
