Why color difference in UV printing?

1、Picture problem 

Before using a uv printer to print patterns, the required printed images need to be processed. 

If a mistake during image processing causes the color of the pattern to be damaged, the printing effect will be different from the required effect.

Specifically, there are several reasons:

1）Computer monitors will have different visual color effects due to different brands, models and color value settings.

2）When making pattern colors, the lightest color value should not be less than 8%, otherwise the light color printing effect may not be obvious. 

3）The image color of the design original is RGB, not CMYK

2、Ink problem

When the working environment of the UV flatbed printer is too humid, there may be residual moisture in the substrate itself or on the surface.

When printing under this condition, the UV ink may not dry completely or the ink may smudge, affecting the printing effect.

When the working environment temperature of the UV printer is too low, it may affect the fluidity of the ink.

Thick ink can easily cause unclear printing and uneven colors.

The ICC curve is a method of correcting printing color deviations. Due to the difference between ink and printing, the printed ink often has a large deviation image, an ICC curve will be made to modify the color to achieve a good color reproduction for the printed graphic.

Normally the ICC curve will be provided from a printer factory, integrated with the RIP software to process the graphic.

Therefore, before printing the graphic, we will need to choose the suitable ICC file when processing the graphic through RIP software.
