How to choose ink for Single Pass Printer?   Dye ink Or Pigment ink?

Type:

Water-based ink suitable for HP pagewide printhead, there are two options, water-based dye or pigment

Color：

The color of the dye is more vivid.

Water-Resistance: 

Dye ink is not water-proof; pigment is water-proof and UV-light resistance. 
The colorant of water-based pigment ink exists in the form of particles in water, which makes it has better color adhesion and UV light resistance. 

Ink Fluency: 

Dye ink has better ink fluency. The dye ink’s particles dissolve in water, which puts less burden on the nozzle and has better fluidity. 

Printing cost:

Ink printing with 100% coverage per square meter consumes 5ML of ink，

Dye printing cost is generally，0.09~0.15$/square meter,

pigment: 0.18~0.35$/square meter

The choice of ink also depends on the needs of the products that need to be printed.
